Should I choose the 5070 or the 9070 XT for Counter-Strike 2?

I'm trying to figure out which GPU to get for my gaming setup. I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor and 32GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. My budget is around €700, which could get me either a 9070 XT or a really good version of the 5070. I've heard that some users with the 9070 XT have experienced freezing issues and low 1% low frame rates, and I don't want to deal with similar issues like I did with my experience using the Intel B580 and its drivers. Can anyone help me make a decision?

If you're mainly playing CS2, the 5070 will actually be faster than the 9070 XT! It’s a great fit for your setup.

I think the 5070 is a solid choice. Since CS2 is more CPU-heavy, your 5800X3D should handle it well, and you can save some money too. Just grab the cheapest version of the 5070, to keep it within budget!

Do you really think the 5800X3D will run CS2 smoothly? I've got a 2070 and I wasn't impressed with my performance, especially with the B580 drivers. Switching back to the 2070 made a huge difference in responsiveness.

Totally agree! The 5070 should pair nicely with that CPU.

Honestly, you could even get away with a tablet GPU for CS2. It's not super demanding, so even a mid-range card should work fine.
