I'm in the process of building a gaming PC and I've narrowed it down to a few GPU options: the 5070 TI, the 7900 XTX, and the 9070 XT. I don't care about ray tracing; my main priority is getting smooth 4K gaming without any blurriness. The 7900 XTX is priced around 800 euros (down to 650 for used ones), while the 9070 XT seems to offer similar performance in 4K and includes features like FSR 4. Given these points, which GPU would be the better choice for me?

The 7900 XTX still has a slight advantage in raw performance compared to the 9070 XT at 4K, but it’s really close. If you can get a second-hand 7900 XTX for the same price as a new 9070 XT, I'd go for the 9070. Plus, it supports FSR 4 which can really enhance your gaming experience. Just to add a bit of humor, my 7900 XTX doubles as a radiator in winter!

That's pretty funny! But yeah, that extra VRAM on the 7900 XTX is tempting.
