I'm building a new PC and looking for a good graphics card. I've been trying to save money and want to know if there are any cheaper GPUs that can match the performance of the 9070xt. A friend suggested I should consider Nvidia cards for their frame generation and DLSS features, but I'm not really familiar with those options. Should I stick with the 9070xt, or can anyone recommend a better or cheaper Nvidia GPU?

Honestly, I would go for the 9070xt. It’s a great value right now, especially compared to other cards. If the 5070ti were priced at MSRP, it might be a contender, but at around $1000, it's not worth it for the performance you get. Stick with the 9070xt for now!
I'm overthinking the Nvidia features too. I think I’ll just go with the 9070xt as well.
If it were my choice, I might lean towards the 5070 instead. The VRAM difference isn't a huge factor for 1080/1440p gaming at the moment. Even though the 9070xt is a bit better in some areas, the Nvidia features like DLSS and improved ray tracing could make a difference down the line. Just my two cents! Also, consider setting up an AM5 build for better future upgrades.
I appreciate the input! I have most of the components ready except for the GPU, cooler, case, and PSU. I'll take a closer look at the 5070.

I totally agree! I picked up my 9070xt for $699 recently, and it handles everything perfectly.
