I'm trying to decide between the RTX 5060 Ti (8GB) and the RX 9060 XT (16GB) for gaming. In New Zealand, the 9060 XT costs $674 while the 5060 Ti is $579. Is the extra $100 worth it for the additional VRAM?

I think it's definitely worth the extra cash! The 8GB cards just don't cut it anymore, and they can be really confusing with naming conventions, especially for newcomers.

It really depends on how you play. If you're gaming at 1080p with maxed-out settings, you'll probably hit that 8GB limit pretty quickly.

Yes, if you're planning to keep your card for more than a year and aren't sticking to 1080p, the extra VRAM will make a difference. Also, make sure your motherboard has a PCIe Gen 5 slot for better performance in the long run!

Good point! I didn't consider the motherboard specs.

Definitely check for that to avoid bottlenecks!

If you can swing it, 9060 XT is the way to go. Just don't second guess it; it's definitely worth the investment.
