Hey everyone! I'm currently gaming mostly on CS2 and Valorant at 1440p resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio, and I'm shooting for 500+ fps in these titles. I do enjoy some AAA games occasionally as well. Right now, the RTX 5080 is about 400€ more expensive than the RX 9070 XT. My setup includes a CPU: 9800x3d, and I'm not planning on upgrading my PC for at least the next 5 years. I'd love to hear your thoughts on which GPU I should go for. Thanks in advance!

I'd definitely go with the 9070 XT. The price difference is pretty steep for the 5080, especially with rumors about upcoming 50 series GPUs, which could mean better options are on the way. The 9070 XT already performs great at 1440p, so you shouldn’t feel disappointed!
I agree with the 9070 XT recommendation. Unless you’re planning on using all the extra features that come with the 5080, it’s just not worth the extra cash. Depending on where you are, check the price difference between the 9070 XT and the 5070 ti as it might be a solid option too!
The difference is just 150€, so the 5070 ti could be worth considering if you want to save a bit more!
