I'm trying to decide between the RX 9070 ($599) and the RTX 5070 ($499). From what I've heard, the RX 9070 has about a 9% edge in raw performance, but the RTX 5070 offers better features and has 12GB of VRAM. I'm mainly gaming at 1080p, but I'm planning to upgrade to a 1440p monitor soon. Any advice? Thanks!

While the RX 9070 does have better raw performance, don’t overlook the importance of VRAM. More VRAM can lead to better frame rates down the line, especially as games become more demanding. I’d say skip the RTX 5070.
