Should I Focus on MERN or Dive into Data Science and AI/ML?

I'm at a crossroads in my learning journey and could use some advice. I've been working on MERN (Full Stack) and have already learned HTML, CSS, and I'm currently tackling JavaScript. However, my interest is shifting more towards Data Science and AI/ML, especially considering future job opportunities. I'm wondering if I should push through and finish MERN before diving into Data Science, or if I should go all in on Data Science now.

Also, if I do complete MERN first, would that knowledge enhance my Data Science projects and potentially lead to a higher salary? I'm thinking about enrolling at Newton School for Data Science since they have a strong reputation and placement assistance.

Honestly, I think you should consider doing both! Starting with MERN gives you app development skills, while Data Science teaches you to work with data. Learning both makes you more flexible and valuable in the job market. I went through a similar journey and can attest that having a mix of skills really helped me in my career. Plus, you can leverage your knowledge for salary negotiation down the line!
