I'm trying to decide whether to buy a WiFi card or a USB adapter for my computer. Normally, I use a wired connection with no issues except for occasional outages, which I suspect are on my provider's end. Soon, I'll be moving back in with my parents while I job hunt, and I can't run an Ethernet cable from the router to my room because it would go through the hallway and under my door. My parents aren't on board with that idea, so I need a way to connect to WiFi. USB ports on my PC are a bit cramped, but I could manage to free one or two. However, I'm thinking a WiFi card might be overkill for just a temporary setup. What do you all think?

It really depends on your needs, but I’d say a PCIe Wi-Fi card will give you more stable and faster connections compared to a USB adapter. If you're going to be using it for a while, it could be worth the investment!
Any specific Wi-Fi card recommendations? I’ve seen a few on Newegg, but I’m not really sure which ones are reliable or what specs to look for.
