Should I go for the 9070 or the 9070 XT?

I'm shopping for GPUs at Microcenter and considering two options: the 9070 for $680 or the 9070 XT for $800. From what I've found, there's about a 15% performance difference between them, and the price difference is also roughly 15%. One big factor for me is that the power consumption is significantly higher on the 9070 XT. I also noticed the 5070 is priced at $605, but I'm hesitant to spend over $500 for a 12GB card, and the 5070 Ti is priced at $900. I'm really curious about your thoughts on which would be the better deal here—I'm leaning towards the 9070 XT as the best option.

If you can swing it, the 5070 Ti is a solid choice. It has way better support for DLSS compared to FSR, but the 9070 XT is still a strong option. But over $600 for the regular 9070? Nah, not worth it.

I’d probably go with the 9070 non-XT. The performance gap is just about 10%, so it might not be worth the extra cash for the XT.

So it sounds like it’s not as big a performance difference as I first thought!
