I'm trying to choose between two computers for school. One is a Dell with an Intel i5 7th gen, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The other option is a mini computer that has an Intel N100, available with either 12GB DDR5 RAM or 16GB DDR4 RAM, also with a 512GB M.2 SSD. Both options fit my budget, and I think they should handle what I need for school. What do you all think? Thanks!

I’d personally choose the N100 over the 7th gen, but neither is ideal. The N100 can run Windows 11 and handle video streaming easily while performing basic office tasks well. The 7th gen struggles with compatibility for Windows 11 and might not be worth it.
Honestly, I'd skip the Dell and go for the N100. It has a smaller size and uses less power. Both processors have 4 cores and 4 threads, but the tech gap between them is significant, so the N100 is a better choice overall.

I'm in Canada, and shipping from eBay is really pricey. Also, I'm not 18 yet, so I can't use marketplace. I would like to look for options myself. Thanks for your input!
