I'm debating whether to buy the RTX 5060 right now or wait for what some people are talking about: a 5060 Super that might have more VRAM. I'm not interested in AMD GPUs since I feel Nvidia offers more useful features and capabilities for my needs. Just a heads up, I'm not considering the RTX 5060 Ti because it costs about $240 more where I live, nor the 9060 XT.

I don’t see why a card like the 5060 with decent VRAM would need even more VRAM. It doesn't really compete with something like the 5070 anyway, which is just a slightly tweaked version using more power for marginally better performance. If you can swing it, the 5060 Ti 16GB might be a solid option for you in the long run!
Honestly, it seems highly unlikely there will be a 5060 Super, just like there weren't any Super variants for the 4060 or 3060. If you're worried about getting locked into a monopoly, maybe consider some alternatives like the 9060 XT. It's worth thinking about your options instead of just sticking with Nvidia.
In my situation, the price difference between the two cards is quite significant, it's $240! So the Ti feels out of reach.
