Hey everyone, I plugged my PC in today and started fiddling with my multiple WiFi adapters when suddenly the screen went black. After removing and reinserting the GPU, it worked again, but I'm getting some weird issues. It seems like when I plug in either of my mice, I get a blue screen with an error message about a critical system driver being missing or corrupt (specifically, ACPI.sys). It says I need recovery tools, and I'm wondering if reinstalling Windows from scratch might solve these problems. What do you think?

I see similar problems with systems sometimes, especially with driver-related issues. Before reinstalling, try swapping your mouse and testing with a different one if you haven’t already. Sometimes the peripherals can cause unexpected conflicts.
It sounds like a pretty messy situation with your drivers and the blue screens. Before you consider reinstalling Windows, I’d suggest trying to boot into Safe Mode and checking for any updates or system restore points you could revert to. If everything fails, a reinstall might be your best option to get rid of the corruption for good.
Reinstalling Windows could definitely help, especially if your system only boots correctly without a mouse or keyboard. Just make sure to back up any important files first. But if it’s a hardware issue, like a failing GPU, it might be worth checking that out too before diving into a full reinstall.
