Should I Just Start Fresh with My PC?

I'm not the most tech-savvy person, but I've picked up a few things over the years. Lately, I've been feeling really overwhelmed by the clutter and disorganization on my PC. I used a debloating software when I first got the computer, but it seems to have caused some issues. For example, I can't install Optifine for Minecraft the way I used to; now I have to use the command prompt to do it manually. I've tried organizing my files, but there are so many that won't transfer properly, which is causing problems like Battle.net not launching and some games giving errors about incorrect versions. There are also a ton of random files I don't even know the purpose of, and I think deleting some of these is what led to my current issues. I mainly play a few games and don't use my PC for much else, besides wanting to save a couple of game clips. I'm considering just wiping everything and starting fresh. Is that a good idea, or would that just be more overwhelming?

Honestly, just do it. Starting fresh will save you a lot of hassle in the long run.

I've had to nuke my PC a few times when things got really messy. It's way easier to back up what you want to keep on a USB or external drive and do a clean install. I'd much rather have to re-download games and programs than sift through random files that I don't even remember. When you reinstall, make sure to get rid of bloatware and turn off those auto-start apps Windows loves to throw in; it helps keep everything running smoothly.

Will do, thank you!

Edit: I'm so relieved to know that even tech people experience this and that I'm not just dumb lol.
