Should I Just Upgrade My GPU or Build a New PC Entirely?

Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my setup for better VR performance and to play new games like GTA 6. Currently, my rig has a GTX 1660 Super and an AMD Ryzen 5 3600. I'm looking at getting a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti for the GPU. My question is, should I just upgrade the GPU for now and keep the rest of my system, or should I take the plunge and build an entirely new PC now? I'd really prefer the GPU upgrade since building a new PC seems like a lot of hassle and expense, plus I can handle the GPU installation myself. What do you all think?

You don’t need to replace your whole PC yet. A 5070 Ti would work great with your current setup. I mean, you could even consider dropping in a 5700X3D down the line without a complete overhaul.

That’s what I thought too, but I’ve seen so many people suggest going for a completely new build.
