Should I Keep Empty Router and Switch Boxes?

I'm wondering if there's a good reason to hold onto the empty boxes for my routers and switches. I've taken all the info off the outside, so they're just taking up space. Any advice?

It really depends on your support agreements. If you might need to send something back, will they send you a replacement box? If not, maybe just keep one box for each model and toss them when the support period ends.

I'm all for ditching them, but then there are times when I needed to return equipment and only had an RMA. If you're tight on space, maybe just get rid of them.

If you enjoy having a collection of cardboard, then go for it!

You could always build a box fort if you really want to keep them!

Do you have any pets? They might enjoy the boxes!

Honestly, I don’t have the space for things I actually need, let alone empty boxes. I just can’t do it!

Right? It’s even worse when someone installs the equipment and leaves their trash behind in the boxes!
