Should I Keep Learning Web Development or Pursue Being a Mechanic?

Hey everyone! I'm feeling a bit lost and could use some guidance. I started learning web development last year at the age of 15 through an online course. Initially, I was just looking for a side hustle to save up for a Mustang. As I progressed, I began to consider web dev as a potential career path. I worked hard on the course throughout 2024 and recently started diving into React. However, I took a break for a few months and now I've forgotten a lot of the JavaScript I learned, although I still remember the basics of HTML and CSS. Now that I'm about to turn 17 and it's my senior year, I find myself at a crossroads. I previously thought about being a mechanic since I enjoy working with my hands and fixing cars. But now I'm torn between continuing to learn web development or pursuing a career as a mechanic. With the rise of AI and website builders that can create sites in minutes, I'm questioning if web development is still worth it. I'd really appreciate any advice on what I should do next!

It really depends on what you see yourself doing every day. Think about what makes you excited to get out of bed in the morning. Do you want to work on cars or code websites? That's a big factor for your future!
