Should I Keep My 5070 Ti or Go for a Used 7900 XTX?

I recently got my hands on a brand new 5070 Ti, but I've come across a used 7900 XTX for $700. I'm debating whether it's worth the hassle of returning the 5070 Ti and driving 56 miles to pick up the 7900 XTX. My main worries are that the 7900 XTX runs hotter and could have a shorter lifespan compared to the 5070 Ti. Just to give you some context, the 5070 Ti is an Asus Prime model, which came with a game I'm looking forward to playing (BL4). I usually game at 1440p, but I'm considering moving to 1440p ultrawide in the future. I also have another thought in mind: should I wait for the 9070 XT to drop in price before making a decision?

Yeah, go with the 5070 Ti! It's just a solid card for what you're looking to do, especially with the games you've mentioned.

I'd stick with the 5070 Ti! It has better ray tracing performance and is more power-efficient. Plus, with DLSS 4's upscaling, you're getting a smoother experience compared to FSR 3.

Honestly, open up that 5070 Ti and enjoy BL4. Sometimes it's better to just stick with what you have if you're not facing huge performance gaps!

If I were you, I'd choose the better tech of the 5070 Ti. It just makes more sense for future-proofing your gaming experience!

Definitely consider the 5070 Ti. The 7000 series from AMD tends to drop in performance significantly when ray tracing is enabled, and the upscaling differences really show.
