Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my PC with a Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card, a Ryzen 7 5700X processor, and a new setup of 32GB DDR4 (2x16GB) 3600MHz G.SKILL Trident Z Neo RAM. Everything is working smoothly so far! However, my friend who helped me with the build suggested that I should keep my old RAM sticks, which are 16GB DDR4 (2x8GB) 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX. Right now, I'm running with a total of 48GB, but the old RAM clocks in at 2133MHz. Should I just get rid of the old RAM and stick with the new, or would it be better to set it to 3000MHz in the BIOS? Thanks for any advice!

Honestly, 32GB should be plenty for gaming, and mixing RAM could lead to problems and slower speeds overall. It's often best to use the new sticks only as they're faster and more reliable.
Oh, totally! 32GB that's stable is way better than having 48GB with possible instability. I've got 48GB of DDR5 and it's awesome, especially for multitasking with demanding games and mods. But I wouldn't mix those different speeds—it might cause some headaches.

So do you have three 16GB sticks or a mix like me with 2x16GB and 2x8GB from different brands and speeds?
