I'm putting together a new PC using the Lian Li V100 case, which allows for the installation of 2 extra 120mm intake fans at the bottom to cool the GPU. I'm curious whether mounting the AIO cooler as an intake on the front panel could be a good option since there will be bottom intake fans. Typically, AIOs are mounted on the top as exhaust for better GPU cooling. Do the bottom intakes make this layout effective, or could there be drawbacks I should consider?

There's really no one-size-fits-all answer for fan orientation. Most cases do have the back set up for exhaust because very few come with a dust filter there. Personally, I've gone with a somewhat unconventional setup where I have the AIO on top and the bottom fans as intakes, while the front and back act as exhaust. This positive pressure works really well for me!
