I'm going on a 5-hour drive with my PC, which has a Hyte Y70 case and a Phantom 7900XTX GPU mounted vertically. I'm wondering if I should take the GPU out for the trip, or if it should be fine as is. What do you all think?

I'd definitely take it out and put it in something soft, just to be safe. A little bump could mess up that $1,000 GPU, so a few minutes to protect it is worth it!
Honestly, removing it just takes a moment and can save you a lot of headaches if something does go wrong. You get a little extra peace of mind, and it’s a quick job!
If you have the original box for your GPU, I'd recommend placing it in there for the drive. The PCIe slots are quite fragile, and it's better to be safe than sorry.
Totally agree! Those GPUs are expensive, and if there's a chance of hitting a bumpy road, it's worth packing it safely. Better peace of mind.
Exactly! You really can’t predict what might happen on the road, so why take the risk with such a valuable part?
