Should I Replace My iPhone 11 Battery or Wait for an Upgrade?

I'm currently using an iPhone 11 (Product Red) with a battery health of just 69% after about 2100 charge cycles. I'm in Nepal right now, and the only option I have for a battery replacement is through a third-party service, which will cost me around $35. However, I plan to move to the USA this fall. I'm considering a couple of options: either replace the battery now to keep the phone for another couple of years, or use a power bank while waiting for Black Friday to trade it in for a refurbished iPhone 13 or newer. What do you think?

If it helps your decision, the iPhone 11 will still be compatible with future iOS updates, while the iPhone X/XS/XR series is getting dropped. This could mean your current phone will still be usable for a while! Definitely something to think about if you're undecided.

Yeah, that's part of what confuses me. I want to make sure I'm making the right choice for the long haul!

Why would you wait 4 months with a bad battery when you could just replace it now? Changing the battery could extend the life of your phone significantly, especially if you're planning to stick with it for a couple more years. You'd probably find it more convenient than relying on a power bank all the time!

Do you have any idea how third-party batteries work? They might not be as reliable as Apple's, and I've heard mixed reviews about their longevity.

Just keep in mind that with the current situation in the U.S., don't count on your move until it actually happens. Planning can be tricky these days! So weighing your options carefully makes sense.
