My PC shut off unexpectedly and now it won't turn back on. I suspect that my power supply unit (PSU) is fried and needs replacing. I'm wondering if I should just get a replacement PSU similar to what I had or if I should consider upgrading it. I plan to upgrade my entire PC setup down the line, but for now, I'm just looking to replace the PSU. Here are my current specs:
- GPU: GeForce RTX 2060 Ventus GP
- CPU: i7-4790K
- RAM: 15.95 GB
- Current PSU: EVGA 600 BR 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
- Motherboard: Z97-G45 Gaming (MS - 7821)

It really depends on what you plan to do soon. 600W isn’t cutting it for many of the newer mid-range GPUs anymore. You’d want at least a 750W PSU, and 850W would give you some breathing room in case your setup changes. If you’re expecting to stick with that wattage, you might end up needing to upgrade again later.

I just need to get my PC running again for now. Any specific PSU brands or models you'd suggest?
