I recently received a custom-built PC that was damaged during shipping. The delivery service smashed the package, and one of the little stumps that lifts the PC for better airflow got broken. Even though I'm not too concerned about the leg itself, I'm worried that the impact might have caused internal damage. The PC has some expansion foam inside to keep everything secure, and there was a chemical indicator on the box that turned red, indicating rough handling. It's currently running okay, although only a few of the fans are working, but I haven't had a chance to fully test it yet. Since I'm in the EU, I can return it for a refund within 14 days without needing a reason. Should I just go ahead and return it for a new one or ask for a replacement leg?

If you can return it, I would definitely do so. It's not worth keeping a potentially damaged product when you have the option to get a new one. Better safe than sorry!
Just exchange it! You bought a brand new PC and deserve one without any damage. Don't settle for less.
You know, the leg breaking might not even be from impact. I once broke one unexpectedly without any rough handling. Just something to consider!
I wouldn’t take any chances. It’s better to be cautious with something that could have hidden damage. Sending it back might be the best move.

What happened? Did it just snap or was it more of a clean break? Mine shattered into pieces when it broke.
