I'm currently using a PC with a 3080 turbo and a Ryzen 7 5800x, and I've received an offer of $1,000+ for it. I'm considering selling it because I want to build a new setup with a 5070ti and a Ryzen 7 9800x3d, estimated to cost between $2.2k to $2.5k. I play games daily, like Battlefield, Bo7, and Fortnite. The person interested in buying my PC is someone I know, and they want to start streaming but don't want to go through the hassle of building their own. Do you think I should go ahead and sell my current PC?

Selling is a smart move. If you can make a decent profit, it's worth it! Just make sure to grab an extra hard drive for the buyer so they can get started streaming without any hassle.
I think you should go for it. Plus, if you're planning to build a new rig, you might want to consider swapping the 5070ti for a 7900xtx instead. It's just about $200 more, but it has 24GB of VRAM, which is great for future games and still fits within your budget!
Definitely sell your PC for that price! Plus, your new build with the 5070ti and Ryzen 7 9800x3d sounds amazing and should give you a big performance boost. And by the way, that build shouldn't cost as much as you're anticipating; maybe check some prices again!

I'm curious, how much do you think the new build should really cost? I know prices at Microcenter are usually high, especially for that setup.
