Should I start my new build now or wait for the new Micro Center to open?

I'm thinking about building a new PC with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and an RTX 5070 Ti. With a new Micro Center opening soon in Santa Clara, I'm torn between waiting for any grand opening deals and the worry that prices might rise if I delay. I'd love to hear your thoughts and any tips you might have on this situation!

I saw somewhere that the Micro Center is expected to open around mid to late May. If you can hold out that long, it might be worth waiting for their deals, but I wouldn't push it too close. It's always good to keep an eye on price trends! You could even consider applying for a job there to get the inside scoop on the opening date.

Honestly, don't put too much faith in construction timelines. There's a Whole Foods near me that took almost two years to open! The Santa Clara Micro Center has been talked about for a while now, so waiting could be risky. Prices can fluctuate, and you might miss some good deals if you wait too long.

True, but I think it was originally set to open last year, so hopefully, it will be happening soon. Once it's up, it'll definitely be a great spot for parts!

Exactly! And once it's open, you'll have a ton of options, so hopefully, it's worth the wait.
