Should I stick with an AIO or switch to an air cooler after my AIO died?

My H150I iCUE cooler seems to have failed, and while I think it's still under warranty and I can RMA it, I'm a bit hesitant. I'm concerned that if I replace it with another AIO, it might fail again in a couple of years. I'm also considering an air cooler, specifically the D15 G2. I mainly use my PC for gaming, light video editing, and occasional work in Unreal Engine 5, and I have an Intel i7-13700K processor. What should I do? I'm ready to spend up to £150 on a reliable cooler if it can keep my CPU cool under heavy loads. Are there better air coolers than the D15 G2 that can handle my usage?

Honestly, you're facing the classic dilemma between AIOs and air coolers. AIOs often provide better performance, especially with high-end CPUs like the 13700K, but air coolers can be more reliable in the long run. If it were up to me, I'd stick with the H150i for now, but maybe keep an eye on alternatives for future builds.
