I'm about to purchase a 9070 XT for my build, and everything else is set up and ready to go. I'm currently using an MSI MAG A850GL power supply and I'm wondering if I should just keep it or return it for a Corsair RM850x. I understand that many people stress the importance of a good power supply, but I've heard the MSI one is decent enough. What do you all think?

While the MSI is decent, just keep in mind that some models skimp on cabling under 1000W. Make sure you double-check what you need for your setup, since having the right connections can really matter for future upgrades.
Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it. The MSI PSU is pretty solid for a build like yours. It's reliable enough for the 9070 XT.
Thank you for your input!
The MSI unit works fine overall. My main issue with it is that they’ve limited the number of PCIE cables to just two, which can be a bit frustrating. Although the 9070 XT won’t draw too much power, it’s still a slight inconvenience. If you’re looking for other options on a budget, explore alternatives too!
Yeah, those 2 PCIE cables are annoying, but I had to go with this one because it was the cheapest decent option.

I’ve checked the connections, and since I'm using 2 PCIE cables, it's fine for now. You're right though, MSI could've done a bit better with their cable options.
