Hey everyone! I'm a newbie in the PC building scene, so I hope this question isn't too basic. I've been doing some research and it seems like the RTX 2080 Ti might outperform the RTX 4060 a bit in terms of raw performance, but it does run hotter and consumes more power. Here's what I currently have:
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB VENTUS 2X OC 8GB
- ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GDDR6 Twin Fan 11GB
I'm not really into Ray Tracing and I primarily game at 1080p. My CPU is a Ryzen 5 5600X. If there's anything specific I should mention, let me know. Thanks for your help!

I’d totally go for the trade! The 2080 Ti is generally stronger overall, and even though it pulls more power, that usually isn’t a big issue unless you’re in a warmer climate. Plus, the extra VRAM is definitely going to help with future-proofing your setup a bit, especially since VRAM tends to matter more in the long run.
You might want to check out comparison graphs on Tom's Hardware too. They break down performance really well. Although I've seen those comparisons, I think real user experiences can provide much better insight. Good luck!
