I'm considering upgrading from a 5070 to a 5070 Ti and want to know if it's worth it. Is there a significant performance difference between the two? Also, would I need a minimum of 850 watts for the 5070 Ti when paired with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D in my new build?

The 5070 Ti is technically a binned version of the 5080, so it does have its advantages. While it used to be pricier, the price-to-performance ratio is still decent now. Both cards are great for overclocking – you might see up to a 10% performance boost.
If you're mostly gaming, consider the 9070 XT instead. It might be priced closer to the 5070 but offers performance just below the 5070 Ti. That could be a good middle ground.
Upgrading to the 5070 Ti is definitely worth it if you can get it at a reasonable price. I’m currently using a 5070 Ti with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D on a 750W power supply, and it runs smoothly without any issues.
What resolution are you playing at? If you're gaming at 1440p or higher, the 5070 Ti could give you a better experience.
The 5070 Ti could definitely give you a better experience, especially if you're finding the 5070 lacking on VRAM for higher resolutions like UWQHD or 4K.
