Should I Upgrade from an RTX 5070 to a 5070 Ti?

I bought an RTX 5070 a week ago for $550, and I'm debating whether I should return it for a 5070 Ti. The best price I've found for the Ti is around $830, which is $280 more than what I originally paid. I'm okay with lowering some graphics settings if I run into VRAM issues down the line, but ideally, I want my GPU to last for a while without needing another upgrade. Is the extra investment for the 5070 Ti justified?

The Ti does offer a 20% performance increase and 35% more VRAM, but it's a 50% increase in price. Logically, it might not be worth it, but if you crave that extra power, it could feel worth it in practice.

Do you really need the Ti right now? If your current setup is running fine, maybe hold off on the upgrade. There's no rush if you're satisfied!

If you can swing the extra cost, the 5070 Ti is a solid choice. It’ll give you better performance overall, especially if you’re planning on keeping your setup for a while.

If you've got the cash, it could be worth it for you. But honestly, I think the performance boost isn't quite enough to justify the extra $280.

Ultimately, it's your call! If you're happy with how your 5070 is performing, maybe it's best to stick with it for now.
