I'm currently using an RTX 3090 and I have a 4K monitor, but I'm not getting consistent frame rates above 60 FPS while gaming at that resolution. I'm wondering if there's a better option out there that can deliver improved 4K performance without costing me over $2000. Any advice on what I should do?

I upgraded from my 3090 to a 5080, and it made a big difference for me! It's much cooler and quieter, plus it handles most AAA games on ultra settings like a champ, especially with DLSS and Frame Generation.
Why not try using DLSS in the balanced mode? I switched to a 6900XT, and with FSR set to balanced, I can play almost every game smoothly at 4K. It might just do the trick for you too!
Have you considered lowering your graphics settings or using DLSS? That might help improve your frame rates without needing to upgrade your card just yet.
If you're looking for more VRAM and want a noticeable upgrade, you could consider upgrading to a newer model. I saw a video comparing the 3090 and 5080, and honestly, if you're not happy with your current performance, it might be worth it. Just be prepared to wait until early 2027 for prices to stabilize, though!
Yeah, but I noticed that a PNY 5080 is priced at around $1000 at Best Buy. Is that even worth it versus just sticking with the 3090?
