Should I upgrade my CPU or GPU for better gaming performance?

My PC has been struggling with some demanding games. According to Task Manager, my CPU is running at 100%, while my GPU is only around 60%. I'm wondering if I should focus on upgrading my CPU, and if so, how should I go about it? I found info online suggesting either the i7-11700K or the i5-11400F, but I'm not sure if the issue lies with my CPU or GPU. Also, I'm still relatively new to building PCs. Here are my current specs:

- Intel Core i5-10600KF 4.1 GHz
- MSI B560M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX LGA1200 Motherboard
- RTX 3060 8 GB
- 4 x 8 GB DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

It sounds like your CPU might be the main bottleneck, especially if you're playing demanding games. If you're getting around 40-50 fps at 1080p and experiencing stuttering, that's usually a sign that the CPU can't keep up. You could go for the i7-11700K for more power, which should help with performance, but first, make sure your cooling and power supply can handle the new CPU.

That makes sense! Thanks for the tip. Do you think upgrading the GPU would help too, or is it mainly the CPU? I really want smoother gameplay.
