I've got a pretty old PC, and I'm looking to upgrade so I can start content creating and gaming at least at 60fps, which I'm currently struggling with. Here's my build:
- **CPU:** i5 4690s
- **GPU:** GTX 1060 3gb
- **Motherboard:** Asrock B85M Pro3
- **RAM:** 16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3
- **Storage:** 1tb Barracuda HDD, 256gb SSD, 500gb Barracuda HDD
Although it's old, some games like For Honor run at 80fps with Discord open and 144fps without. However, titles like Lords of the Fallen, Flintlock, and Dying Light barely hit 30fps on low settings. I've done all the basic performance tweaks like "prefer max performance" in the Nvidia control panel.
The best CPU I can fit in my motherboard is the i7 4670k, but I also feel like my system's bottlenecking; my CPU reaches 70% utilization while my GPU runs at 100% during gameplay. I can't run anything else while gaming with Discord open. I'd really appreciate any advice on what I should do next!

Go for a full upgrade! Your platform is really outdated, and that 3 GB VRAM isn't cutting it for modern games. You'll get way better performance and features with new hardware.
Would it be better to hold off for a bit and save up for everything, or should I look for a decent temporary upgrade?
