Should I Upgrade My GPU After Getting a New CPU?

I recently upgraded to a 7800X3D CPU and am currently using a 6750 XT QCK GPU. I'm concerned about potential bottlenecks since I usually play story-driven games at 1080p with all settings on max. Do I need to consider upgrading my GPU?

Every system has its bottlenecks. Your setup sounds solid for 1080p max settings, so I wouldn't rush to upgrade the GPU just yet. If you're really looking to enhance your gaming experience, think about upgrading your monitor first.

The 7800X3D is a fantastic CPU, and it can be paired with most GPUs without causing a bottleneck. If you're considering an upgrade, my suggestion is to look into getting a new 1440p monitor for a better visual experience!

The term "bottleneck" can be a bit vague. It basically means one component is maxed out, limiting performance, which is completely normal. If you're happy with how your games are running at the moment, there's no need to stress about upgrading your GPU. By the way, what was the CPU you upgraded from?

I upgraded from a 5600X. It wasn't a cheap upgrade, which is why I'm hesitant to change the GPU if it's not necessary.
