I'm currently using an RTX 3060 and I'm debating whether it's worth upgrading to a 9060 XT 16GB, or if I should just stick with my current card until the specs for the next-gen GPUs are available in 2027-2028. Any advice?

Don't rush into the upgrade just because of fear of missing out. If your current setup works for you, it might be better to wait it out. Prices will stabilize eventually, and the hype will die down in time.
I’d suggest upgrading now! The RTX 3060 isn’t the strongest card anymore, and waiting could mean higher prices. Getting a new GPU now might save you some money in the long run.
If you're not struggling with FPS in the games you play, there's no need to rush into an upgrade. Only change if you're really feeling the limitations of your current setup.
I just got a 9070 XT and I’m feeling good about it. I think with the way technology is evolving, you’ll be fine for several years without needing to upgrade again. The incremental jumps seem smaller now.
Honestly, if you’re financially stable enough, go for the upgrade! You don't want to miss out while prices rise even higher with the next generation coming out.

Totally agree! The tech limits seem to have plateaued, and next-gen expectations might not be that revolutionary.
