Should I upgrade my GPU or CPU first for better performance?

I currently have an RTX 3060 and a Ryzen 5 5600, but I'm experiencing poor performance in VR and occasional stutters in other games. I'm considering upgrading either to an RTX 5060 GPU or a Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU. I'd love some suggestions on which upgrade to prioritize!

You might want to look at the RX 9060 XT with 16GB instead of just going for the 5060 with 8GB. Also, think about your power supply; it has to be strong enough for whatever upgrade you choose. What's your current RAM like, and how fast is it running? If you're on a B450 motherboard, make sure the BIOS is updated and your cooler is good enough for a 5700X3D upgrade. It might help to check your CPU and GPU temps too, so your setup stays cool!

I have 16GB of 3200 RAM, and if I upgrade my CPU, I plan on switching to a B550 motherboard, getting a new case, and a cooler because my current case is really old. My power supply is 650W, so I should be fine!
