I'm currently running a Ryzen 7 3700x with a 5700xt and 16GB of RAM, powered by an 800 watt power supply. I'm thinking about upgrading to a 9060 xt 16GB GPU, but I'm concerned about potential bottlenecking since I'm gaming at 1920 x 1080p. I noticed that Micro Center has two bundles: one with a Ryzen 7 7700x, 32GB of DDR5, and a B650 gaming motherboard for around $540, and another with a Ryzen 5 7600 x3d, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and an MSI B850 gaming pro WiFi motherboard for about $430. Should I upgrade to AM5 first before getting a new GPU?

It really depends on your gaming habits! If you're into graphically intense games, the 9060xt 16GB should work well even with a Ryzen 5 5500, which is sort of on par with your 3700x. If you're mainly gaming at 1080p and not feeling any performance issues in multiplayer games, you may not need to rush into a CPU upgrade for just that resolution. The 7600x3d at Microcenter is a decent deal though if you eventually want to make the switch to AM5, but it's not a must-have right now for your current setup.

Got it! So I might just go for the 9060xt now and see how it performs?
