Should I Upgrade My GPU When I Upgrade My RAM?

I'm finally upgrading my RAM from 16GB to 64GB for the Oblivion Remaster because I've noticed that a lot of games are struggling on my current setup. Whenever I try to play more recent titles, I have to set everything to the lowest settings just to maintain a decent framerate. Given my current setup with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G CPU and an NVIDIA RTX 3050 8GB GPU, I'm wondering if I should also consider upgrading my GPU or any other components while I'm at it. I'm looking to keep my GPU upgrade under $600-$700. Any thoughts?

It sounds like your GPU is really the bottleneck in your system. That RTX 3050 is starting to lag behind with new games. If you're looking at a GPU upgrade, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is a solid choice around $500, but make sure to skip the 8GB version. Also, consider upgrading your power supply; it may not be the best quality based on some reviews. A good option would be to get a power supply around $100 to support the new GPU better.

Gotcha, thanks! Would the XPG Core Reactor II Modular PSU: ATX3.0-80 Plus Gold be a solid choice for the 5060 Ti?
