I'm currently running a Ryzen 5 5600x and an RTX 3070 Ti, and I'm considering upgrading to a used Ryzen 7 5800x3d and an RTX 3080. My PSU, RAM, and motherboard are still suitable for the new components, so I could sell my old parts to offset the costs. Money is a bit tight at the moment, though, so I'm wondering if this upgrade is worth it, or if I should just wait and save for a full system instead, like a Ryzen 9 9600x and an RTX 5070.

Honestly, going for the 3080 isn't really necessary since it's only a small step up from your 3070 Ti. If you're going to upgrade, maybe consider a more significant jump like the 4070 series instead.
