I built my PC back in 2016, and it's pretty outdated at this point. Windows 11 isn't even supported on it, which gives you an idea of its age. My main activities are gaming and 3D work in programs like Blender and Unreal Engine, but lately, my PC has been struggling with newer games, and the rendering time is really slow. I've lost track of component prices, but with all the recent price hikes I'm feeling pressured to upgrade before components become unaffordable. I'm also worried about old parts breaking and not being able to find decent replacements. What do you all suggest in this situation?

If your finances allow for it, go for the upgrade. The old saying holds true: the best way to combat inflation is to buy things now. Prices for everything will keep climbing. Just watch out for the craziness in the secondhand market.
Honestly, you might be a bit late to the game. RAM prices have already skyrocketed and are three times what they once were. GPUs are next on the chopping block for price increases.
I would definitely recommend upgrading if you can swing it. Prices are only going to go up. I had a similar situation and watched RAM prices shoot up every day. I ended up pulling the trigger on my upgrade, and I'm glad I did!
It really does get worse the longer you wait! I waited too long and saw RAM prices triple. I'm worried the same will happen with GPUs.

I guess I'm lucky, because RAM was the only decent component I could upgrade.
