I'm in a bit of a pickle as someone who doesn't know much about PCs. I've had my current setup for quite a while and I'm interested in playing more demanding games. Right now, I have a Ryzen 3 3600X CPU, an NVIDIA 3060 Ti GPU, and 32GB of RAM. I'm concerned that my motherboard might limit my build's potential, and I'm not comfortable replacing the motherboard since I'm not a PC builder. I'm wondering if I can upgrade this PC enough to meet my gaming needs, or if it's better to buy a new one altogether. Ideally, I'd like to have a PC capable of running pretty much all games out there. I know I'm a bit clueless on this, so any real advice would really help!

I used to have the Ryzen 3 3600 and 3060 Ti at 3440x1440, which worked but was starting to feel outdated. I switched to a 5700X3D with a 9070XT and it’s been fantastic! While it’s a bit pricier, the 5700X still gives good value, too.
You could see a decent boost by upgrading to a 5600X CPU, or consider a new GPU, but honestly, your 3060 Ti is still a solid card. Also, make sure your RAM is overclocked in the BIOS, if it isn't, that's an easy performance upgrade right there!
Try not to fixate solely on the motherboard; your CPU and GPU are what really matter. Upgrading to a Ryzen 5000 series processor could be your best budget option since it typically doesn't require a motherboard swap. Plus, a new GPU would greatly enhance your gaming experience, as long as your PSU can handle it!
You can definitely update your BIOS, and consider CPUs like the 5600 or 5700X series. Just keep in mind your gaming resolution—better GPUs like the 5700X3D will perform well. What resolution are you gaming at, by the way?
I used to game at 4K but switched to a 1080p 144Hz display because it improved my performance significantly.
You don’t necessarily need to swap out your motherboard for an upgrade. The 5800X3D is the best CPU for your setup and it should work fine on most AM4 motherboards, maybe just needing a BIOS update. Upgrading your GPU can provide a bigger performance boost, and you can definitely get worthwhile gains without replacing everything.
Those 5800X3Ds are pricey now! If you’re near a MicroCenter, they might have some deals on CPU/Mobo/RAM combos that are a better investment.

Any tips on where to start learning about overclocking RAM?
