I recently benchmarked my PC without any issues for about 30 minutes, and the temperatures stayed within a good range. However, whenever I try to play games for around 10 to 15 minutes, my PC crashes, either showing a black screen or a blue screen. While cleaning my PC today, I noticed that it has a 500W power supply. I have an RTX 3060 12GB, a Ryzen 7 5700G, and 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM. I'm wondering if I need to upgrade my PSU since I read online that a minimum of 600W is recommended for the RTX 3060. Is a PSU upgrade necessary, or could there be another issue causing the crashes?

While 500W is theoretically sufficient, a lot of 500W power supplies are quite unreliable. It’s also worth noting that blue screens often indicate issues related to RAM, not only the power supply. So make sure to check the exact model of your PSU and consider running some RAM diagnostics.
500W should technically be enough for your setup. Can you tell me the make and model of your PSU? That info can help assess if it's a quality unit or not.
It's the MWE 230V 500 from Cooler Master.
