Should I Upgrade My Power Supply Now or Wait for AM6?

Hey everyone, I'm wondering whether I should upgrade my power supply unit (PSU) now or hold off until the AM6 platform is released. My current setup is running smoothly without any issues, but I definitely want to make the transition to AM6 when it finally comes out (though I know it won't be for a while). Here are my specs: AMD 5700x3d, RTX 4070ti super, Corsair RM750 (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX, 32GB RAM, MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard, NOCTUA NH-D15 BLACK, a 500GB Firecuda SSD, an 8TB Western Digital SSD, and a 1TB Samsung Evo Pro SSD with CableMod C-Series Pro ModMesh Sleeved cables. What do you all think? Should I go ahead and upgrade my PSU now and tackle the rest when AM6 drops, or stick with my current PSU? Looking for some advice, thanks!

Honestly, your PSU seems pretty solid and more than enough for your current setup. Unless you have a specific reason to upgrade it, like wanting more wattage or features, I’d say stick with it for now!

I think you're right! I was just wondering because I saw a great deal on a 1000W PSU, but I think I'll just wait it out.

Wait, do you really mean your power supply? Why swap it out?

Yeah, I mean my PSU. Just trying to figure out if I should upgrade now or hold off until AM6, especially since a new build will need a PSU upgrade too!

If your PC is doing everything you want it to do without any hiccups, there’s no need to rush into upgrading. Plus, who knows when AM6 will actually launch—could be a while!

Thanks for the input! Looks like I’ll just hold off for now since everything's running great.
