Hey there! I've got a Ryzen 7 3700x CPU paired with an RTX 3080 12GB GPU and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM running on an MSI MPG X570 Gaming EDGE WiFi motherboard. I've been using this setup for about five years, and it's been a solid gaming rig. Lately, though, I'm noticing some bottlenecking with newer AAA titles at 1440p. I'm considering upgrading my CPU, but I'd like to know if there are options available that would enhance my gaming experience without the need to switch to an AM5 motherboard—and if it would even be worth it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’d recommend looking into the Ryzen 7 5700X3D or 5800X3D. They’re solid upgrades and usually provide a noticeable performance boost. Plus, with those options, you won't have to switch your motherboard or RAM, which can save you some cash!

That makes sense! Avoiding the MB and RAM upgrades is a big plus. I’ve also seen some deals on 5800XT at local stores. Do you think that’s a good route too?
