Should I Upgrade My Windows 10 Laptop to Windows 11 for Valorant?

Hey everyone! I'm not super tech-savvy, so I could really use your help. I have a laptop with an Intel i5 processor, but my model isn't compatible with Windows 11 according to the info I found. I've seen some videos about how to bypass those compatibility checks to upgrade, but I'm worried about the requirements, especially since both Windows 11 and Valorant need TPM 2.0, and mine only supports TPM 1.2. Plus, I'm experiencing issues trying to update my AMD drivers; I keep running into error 182 no matter how I try to update—from the official site to the device manager. So, what do you think? Should I go ahead with the upgrade, or stick with Windows 10?

I wouldn't rush into upgrading since you've got issues with drivers already—those are tricky! Make sure your Windows 10 is fully updated to the latest version first. For the TPM issue, some users have successfully modified their registry settings to bypass that TPM requirement, but that's a bit technical. Just remember, it could make your system less stable if you go that route.

First off, can you tell us which generation your i5 is? That might help us figure out compatibility better. Generally, if your laptop's specs are below what's required, it might not run so well on Windows 11, and TPM 2.0 is a significant requirement. But if the games you want to play run fine on Windows 10, sticking with it might be smarter. If you really want to upgrade, maybe find some forums that focus on bypassing the requirements specifically for your laptop model.
