Hey everyone! I've got a Ryzen 7 3700x, an RTX 4060 8GB, and 32GB of RAM. Right now, I'm using a 144Hz 1080p monitor, and I'm curious if upgrading to a 280Hz 1080p monitor would make a noticeable difference. Alternatively, should I consider moving to a 1440p monitor instead? I mostly play FPS games like Overwatch, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Going from 1080p to 1440p is a bigger upgrade than just bumping from 144Hz to 280Hz. If you stick with 144Hz at 1440p, you're definitely in for a treat!

I'd say definitely go for the 1440p option. You'll definitely see a difference in clarity, but keep in mind that your GPU and CPU might struggle to hit those high FPS numbers unless you play on lower settings.
