I'm mainly focused on gaming at 1440p and doing some light content creation with DaVinci Resolve. My goal is to find the best price-to-performance ratio, but I hear mixed opinions from friends who are really into gaming.
Can anyone who has experience with both processors provide insight on the real-world gaming performance? Specifically, I'd like to know how they compare in terms of FPS, minimum frame rates, and overall smoothness. Also, it would be helpful to hear about their thermal performance—does one tend to run hotter or cooler than the other?
