I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card from a 2060 to a 5070. I've heard mixed reviews about the 5070, especially regarding its value compared to the 30 and 40 series cards. Unfortunately, the 40 series is sold out where I live, and I'm only seeing 3050s available. My budget is tight since I also need to buy other components for my PC, so my only options are really the 5070 or possibly waiting to save more for a 5080. My monitor has been failing for the last couple of months, so I'm tempted to go for the 5070, but I want to make sure it's a good choice since I don't need top-tier 4K graphics.

The 5070 Ti is supposed to be fantastic for the price! Just keep in mind the cost differences can be significant, especially in different countries, so stick to what fits your budget.
If your monitor is on its last legs, it's definitely worth getting the 5070 along with a new 1440p monitor. It’ll be a much better experience! Oh, and did you upgrade your CPU yet?
The 5070 has been criticized for its value since it's not significantly better than the 4070 Super but costs about the same. Still, if it's what you want, go for it! It's actually cheaper than what the 4070 Super used to cost a year ago.
Consider getting the 5070 or even the 9060XT if you're looking to save money. The 50 series gets called bad value because it's just a slight upgrade from the 40 series. But coming from a 2060, the 5070 would be a huge upgrade for you!

Yeah, I upgraded to an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X back in September. My friend said it’s a great match for the 5070!
