I'm trying to decide between buying a new Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED monitor or an RX 9070 XT GPU. They are about the same price, around $780 here in Thailand. I mainly play single-player games and currently have a Ryzen 5600 CPU, an RX 6800 GPU, and a 34" VA monitor with a resolution of 3440x1440. What would be the better choice for improving my gaming experience?

Remember, upgrading to an OLED monitor can significantly enhance the visual quality and immersion of your games. If it were me, I would prioritize the monitor first. The gaming experience can feel totally different on an OLED compared to a regular monitor.
I'd go for the new GPU. High VRAM cards are only going to get more expensive, and if you're looking at the RX 9070 XT, it's a solid upgrade from your RX 6800. Plus, you'll still get good performance out of your current monitor for a while longer.
Definitely consider the new GPU too! But keep in mind that OLED monitors are dropping in price while GPUs may keep going up. If you can only pick one right now, that RX 9070 XT will give you the immediate performance boost in games. If you can wait, maybe hold off for a bit on the monitor instead.
