I'm currently using an AM4 setup with a 5800X3D. I'm considering an upgrade to AM5 and getting a 7600X3D, but I'm not sure if it's worth it or if I should hold out for the rumored AM6.

Honestly, it really depends on what games you're struggling with. If there's not much holding you back performance-wise, you might be fine sticking with what you have for a while. Plus, you can potentially sell your 5800X3D right now and make some good cash on it!
I’m in the same situation! I plan on waiting until prices stabilize a bit. If you can get a bundle deal at Micro Center, that might be worth it, especially since you might be able to flip your current setup for a good price.
Yeah, that's what I'm considering! It feels like a great chance to upgrade without losing too much on my current gear.
I agree with the others, your current setup still has a lot of life. Unless you really need the upgrade now, there’s no rush. Just keep an eye on how the market goes in the next couple of years before making a final decision.
If AM6 is really three years away, it might be wise to upgrade if you want the latest tech. Just keep in mind that the 5800X3D is still a strong CPU for gaming, and you're not going to see a massive jump in performance with the 7600X3D. But if you're after a new GPU later, that might change your need to upgrade now.

Yeah, I was thinking of selling mine too, maybe as a combo with the RAM and motherboard to get a decent price.
